My longest collaboration has been with my friend Lior Ashkenazy. Somehow, we haven't got to recording a "proper" release yet, but we amassed a bunch of live recordings, so i decided to select three immediately most memorable to me, and upload them here. I think they are also among the best sets i ever played, period.
It started in 2011, when he invited me to play a set with him during his exhibition at the old (the first) Zimmer. It's the first track in this compilation. The second track was recorded during the evening where i played two duos, one with Yoni Silver (one of the most quiet i ever played) and one with Lior (which went quite in the opposite direction). The third is as of April of 2018 is our last. Prior to this set each of us gave some thinking to why our last few sets were less compelling to us, and came to the right conclusion. I think it's a particularly good one, as a result.
