The first track was recorded about a month ago (see the publication date). It's not bad, but it didn't fit with the other stuff I recorded during these weeks (which I intend for physical release) so it got left out. I am not completely in peace with the ending, and it might be a bit too long, but it just became kind of dull when I edited it, so I left it as it was in the end. It's called #3 because it was the third track I recorded during the quarantine.
The second track was recorded in 2017 for Signifying Something, a podcast Steve Flato was doing at the time. Unfortunately the episode didn't happen and I am not sure if it will. If it does, I'll record something new anyway, so here it is. There are more Stockholm Variations, and they were included in the download of "the distance between a word and a deed". I actually like this one more than any of those (though not the tape itself). This one is dedicated to Steve.
The last track was recorded for the still ongoing Amplify 2020: quarantine (
amplify2020.bandcamp.com). It was the first track recorded during the quarantine. I was trying to capture what it felt like being at home during the onset of this whole thing. Huge thanks to Jon for inviting me to participate and starting me recording, it really made this whole period easier.
